Gwendoline Krumins

Gwendoline is a working artist, whose work responds to people and their environs capturing them
in their everyday life situations. Her background is tonal impressionism.
She has been an active Signatory member of the Victorian Artists Society since 1996 and an
exhibiting member with the Melbourne Society of Women Painters and Sculptors since 2002.
Winning numberous awards at both Societies and other Art Exhibitions, she has held solo and joint
exhibitions around Melbourne.
Concentrating on various projects over the past number of years, and simultaneously producing
works for exhibition selections at the VAS & MSWPS, she also demonstrates her skills by invitation
from various art groups.
Since 1975, she has taught drawing and painting weekly from her home studio and also at the
Victorian Artists Society in the past.
As a convenor for the Friday Group Painters formed at the Victorian Artists Society, she works from
the life model each week.
Gwendoline has judged Art Exhibitions throughout Melbourne, including the Pastel Society of
Victoria, Australia Inc in 2018, the Heidelberg Artists Society in 2018, Hobsons Bay Art Society in
2005 and numerous others.
